
This is a great side dish to accompany chicken, pork or beef. The potatoes are really delicious prepared this way and if you don't like mushrooms, you can use either cream of broccoli or cream of celery soup instead.
AUNT DOROTHY'S FANCY POTATOES
1 (32 oz.) frozen Southern style hash brown potatoes
2 cans Campbell's chicken mushroom soup
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
2 c. bread crumbs
2 c. shredded med. cheddar cheese
Dash salt
5 pats butter
In large oblong baking dish that has been buttered, pour all frozen potatoes. Distribute butter evenly and pour mixture of soup (not diluted) and sour cream on top. Spread bread crumbs, then cheese over all.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden brown. Yield: 15 servings.
