RECIPE of the Day - 6/24/2007

This is a great snack for children and adults alike. They are so good, and once your children hear the name, they will want to try it for sure.


4½ cup mini-marshmallows
3½ cup Rice Chex
3½ cup Corn Chex
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup butter
½ cup M&M's (plain chocolate)
Grease a 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan; set aside.

In large glass bowl, combine 4 cups marshmallows, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high 2 minutes or until melted; stir until smooth. Add the remaining marshmallows, Rice Chex, M&M's and Corn Chex. Stir to coat all pieces evenly. Spread cereal mixture evenly into prepared pan, and pat down with the back of a buttered spoon, or some buttered waxed paper. Refrigerate 1 hour.

To serve, pull apart and enjoy. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container.
