RECIPE of the Day - 3/01/2007




This is one of those cakes that is really indulgent. It is very rich and as the recipe name suggests ooey, gooey chocolate with a few extras. For those of us who have a couple of sweet teeth, this is a great dessert.




OOEY GOOEY CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar caramel, butterscotch or fudge ice cream topping
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 Heath candy bar, grated

Prepare and bake cake as directed on package (9 x 13 inch pan) and let cool.

With a wooden spoon handle, punch holes about one inch apart over entire cake. Pour whole can of sweetened condensed milk into holes. Pour entire jar of ice cream topping over that. Spread entire container of Cool Whip over the topping and sprinkle grated Heath bar over all.
