Loving Lord
Loving Lord, merciful and just;
It is in Thee that we put our trust.
We ask for Thy guidance and direction in our life,
Keep us from all harm, crisis and strife.
Give us patience to deal with those who are weak;
Let us find the right words and through us speak.
We want everyone to know the peace from Thy love.
Make our hearts pure, like a gentle, white dove.
We uphold Thy laws, Lord, for Thou didst command it.
We want to be close to Thee and live in Thy spirit.
Keep our eyes open to Thy Holy Word, and
Teach us to pray that our prayers may be heard.
