RECIPE of the Day - 5/18/2007

Our daughter has always been a fan of broccoli and cauliflower. This recipe, however, is her very favorite - and ours too!

Golden Cauliflower

1 head cauliflower
1 cup raw carrots, diced
¼ cup onions, chopped
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Break cauliflower into flowerlets. Arrange cauliflower and carrots in greased casserole. Cover with onion, seasonings and butter. Pour milk over vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover. Bake in moderate oven (350° F.), 1 hour, removing cover the last 15 minutes.
