Make Your Own Bath Products

Bedtime Bath Mixture recipe - This will help you unwind and relax after a stressful day.
2 drops rose geranium oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops chamomile oil

Mix the oils into a warm bath and soak for at least 15 minutes.


Scented Bath and Shower Gel recipe
1 bar castile soap grated (we use Ivory)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 teaspoon table salt
5 to 10 drops essential or fragrance oil (optional)

Add the grated bar of soap to 1 cup of boiling water in the blender and set on "whip." Add essential oil and mix well. Cool the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes and whip again. Add cold water to the mixture until you have 6 cups. Whip the mixture again. Pour it into a storage container and let it cool. Do not place a lid on the container. Fill a pump dispenser with the shower gel. Shake before using. This can also be used as a bubble bath!!


Almond Bath Oil recipe
4 ounces almond oil
Few drops perfume

Fill a four-ounce bottle with almond oil and the perfume. Let set overnight.


Bath Powder recipe
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup talc
Few drops scented oil or a favorite cologne or perfume

Fill an empty wide-mouth jar or box with cornstarch and talc. Spray the mixture with your favorite cologne or perfume or add scented oil. Stir; cover and let mixture mellow for 24 hours.


Energizing Morning Bath Mixture recipe
4 drops rosemary oil
2 drops lavender oil

Add the essential oils into your bath water.


Foaming Vanilla Honey Bath recipe
1 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup liquid soap
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Mix together all the ingredients and pour into a clean bottle with a tight fitting stopper or lid. To use, shake before using. Pour 1/4 cup into the bath under running water.
Yields 16 ounces - enough for 8 baths.

**When the recipe calls for a castile soap that means a white type of soap such as Ivory or a store brand. You can also use liquid castile soap, Ivory liquid hand soap or a similar store brand.
